At its July meeting, the SCRP Steering Committee unanimously adopted a new Mission and Platform statement.. This was the culmination of an intense effort to identify and articulate the concerns of the citizenry coupled with core Republican principles to address those concerns.

One of our local Party’s greatest challenges has been that we haven’t had a cohesive, unified, or easily “communicatable” message (15 seconds or less) that everyone could articulate, rally around, or build on. In other words, we had a hard time telling people what we stood for and/or why it made sense to buy into the local Republican brand. Call to Action

Our community is in crisis, and the SCRP is on a mission to elect authentic leaders you can trust to protect your neighborhoods, educate your children, and require local government to deliver real value for your tax dollars.

Platform

The SCRP will identify and support candidates and officials who pledge to:

1) Empower people, not themselves or government

2) Demonstrate unfailing honesty and integrity

3) Reject divisive racial tactics of any kind

4) Refuse any item of personal gain, privilege, or benefit

5) Require accountability and results from government programs

6) Make tough, even unpopular choices when necessary

7) Demand customer service from government agencies

8) Accept responsibility for mistakes

9) Value results over rhetoric and re-election
