The 8th district, represented by Stephen Fincher (R), covers most of the former 7th district including all of Germantown, Bartlett, Lakeland, Arlington, and Collierville. It also gained a portion of East Memphis along Poplar Ave. The 9th district, currently represented by Steve Cohen (D), picked up Cordova and Millington and includes most of the City of Memphis.
